Session 1 – Using ambient light

Kevin will showcase and demonstrate his incredible award-winning images. He will teach you how to photograph weddings with natural and available ambient light, how to see the light, how he uses a simple reflector to create images his clients fall in love with.

Session 2 – Off camera flash / Editing

Uzair will go through in detail how he uses off-camera flash at engagement sessions & weddings. You will learn everything you need to start using flash like you’ve never used before, the set-up shots and the kit required. How to get high conversion of leads into bookings, monetizing your Engagement Sessions without your client paying a penny!! Plus you will see a post-processing and editing workflow of a complete wedding.

Session 3 – Bridal Portraits

This is a practical hands-on session where you will shoot bridal portraits with Martin using a single light set up. You will learn simple lighting techniques like broad, short, split & Rembrandt lighting, which lens are the right one for bridal portraits and how choosing the right lens can transform a good image to a great one. You will have plenty of shooting opportunities and you will be allowed usage of images for your portfolio.

Session 4 – Post Processing

Experts from onOne software will show you how to create stunning bridal portraits with the images shot during the day. You will learn the fastest way to create stunning portraits, create images with impact and replace backgrounds with ease. You are also invited to bring along some of your own images which you can also post-process.

Wedding Photojournalism Seminar

It is a must for those wishing to learn more about the photojournalistic style of wedding photography and will be suitable for both newbies and seasoned pros.

The Seminar will be divided into 2 sessions and will cover The Photography side & The Business side of Wedding Photojournalism.

Morning – 10am Start
The morning session will focus on The Photography. We will be showing images that cover the 3 main elements of a wedding day – the morning preparations, the ceremony & the reception. We will be talking about our unobtrusive approach and the finer details of composition and storytelling.

12.30pm – 1.15pm  Lunch

Afternoon – 4.30 Finish
The afternoon session will focus on The Business aspect. We will be talking about the various elements of running a successful wedding photography business including the practical side of wedding photography such as our workflow, equipment, shooting techniques and album design.

We will also talk about the ‘Joys and Pitfalls’ of destination wedding photography.
